Highly Experienced Math and Science Tutor: I have over 20 years of experience in teaching. My resume includes teaching high school math classes, tutoring students from 1st to 12th grades, homeschooling my own children from kindergarten through 12th grade (they are currently at NC State), SAT math prep classes, and I currently work part time in the GED department at Wake Tech Community College teaching science and math classes. I am qualified to tutor math students of any age, science students through 9th grade, language arts and social studies through 9th grade, and Wake Tech students in MAT 050, 060, 110, 115, 151, 152, 121, 122, 140, 141, 142, 143, 161, 171. I can also help students prepare for the math portion of the SAT and ACT. I usually work with students in one or two one hour sessions a week. Parents will receive a weekly report on the tutoring sessions. I am able to come to your Holly Springs home, or meet at the Holly Springs library. $50 per hour, or $25 per half hour. Discounts are available for multiple sessions per week, or multiple children from the same family.
